Balancing Insanity
tldr; Sometimes, you'll do what you've always done and you'll get a different result
On occasion, people or organizations will struggle with fanaticism.
A leader or team member might read a book, watch a TED talk or come across a business philosophy that they proselytize. It can happen to anyone, myself included.
A common one is the trope worthy "Definition of Insanity": Doing the same thing and expecting a different result.
Innocuous and encouraging when folks remember that it comes with some caveats, namely that time marches on. What you tried yesterday, might work today.
Sometimes its critical to do what you've done before, because you will get a different result, because sometimes things beyond your knowledge change.
Remember to try the door.
